I lost 70 pounds and I almost ran the New York Marathon in 2012. So, what's next?

I read this WSJ article this morning and thought it might be of some interest, especially to those of you (us) suffering from a bit of over-training, lack of motivation, injuries.
The story is about Abdi Abdirahman and his brand of training. “He eats what he wants, likes to party and runs fewer training miles than other marathoners, occasionally skipping workouts altogether.”
If this philosophy will help me run a 28:56 10K like this guy did last weekend, I am extremely on board. Also, the title of this article is “Going For Gold — Or Whatever.” Works for me!
