1. Run a relay with me!

My relay team for Ragnar Napa Valley is still in need of runners. The race is September 14 and 15 in San Francisco and points north, and each teammate’s share of running is somewhere between 11 and 18 miles over 2 days.

I am dying to do this trip even though two years ago I would have considered it insanity to run 200 miles, even with 11 other people. You don’t need to be fast, only to want to have fun and be able to commit to traveling to California and spending those 2 days with us. You don’t even have to like wine! But if you do, first glass is on me when we finish.

I have been trawling Facebook, Twitter, random people I knew from high school who have since taken up running, family members… you get the picture. I’ve heard a lot of “Oh man, I would love to do something like that someday!”s. Why wait for someday? As the saying goes, tomorrow is promised to no (wo)man.

Please reblog, share and send to anyone you think might be SLIGHTLY interested. (I usually only request this once a year, so you KNOW it’s good.)
