Representative Ryan, who was a physical trainer briefly after college, has been organizing P90X workouts with a group of other congressmen including Representatives Heath Shuler, Democrat of North Carolina, and Aaron Schock, Republican of Illinois.
“Bart Stupak and I lead it every morning,” Representative Ryan told Politico, referring to the now-retired Democratic representative from Michigan. “There’s about a dozen of us who do it.” Mr. Horton even went to Washington several times to join the congressional workouts.
Mr. Romney might be next. In an interview Wednesday with CBS’s “This Morning” Mr. Romney, who works out on an elliptical machine, said that he is willing to give the muscle-confusing exercises a try. “I might have him show me how to do it someday,” Mr. Romney said.
Let’s all set aside our ideological differences for a moment and ponder how hilarious it would be to see Mitt Romney trying P90X.
