Must-read: RunnersWorld.com: Tips to get you motivated to run
Here’s proof that running can boost your confidence. As runners know, sometimes that confidence is a false sense of reality…but it feels great.
Rick Perry goes for a run…thinks he’s still in it…tweets “And the next leg of the marathon is the Palmetto State. … Here we come South Carolina!!!”
Oh boy.
At least Perry wore shorts over his tights. Just saying. He’s already exposed his shortcomings enough in this campaign cycle.
Okay, if I understand this page correctly…
1. Every time the Saints win, RnR discounts the marathon and half marathon registration the next day by the number of points between the Saints and the other team.
2. The Saints beat the Colts yesterday 62-7 which could be some kind of record.
3. That’s a $55 discount…
4. On a race that’s $90 (half) or $95 (full), so it would be $35-$40 instead.
5. The discount is available today from 12pm CDT to 11:59pm CDT.
6. I have never been to New Orleans. (That’s not really on the page, I’m just adding it here.)
