Review of Clif Chardonnay- 1) Drink of cold (it is not cold it has a sweetness and less acidity) 2) packaging makes up for #1 3) after you pour let it air out a bit 4) friend rates it 6.5. Overall rating is an 8 5) everyone loves the concept and would buy it again. Clif needs to work on the vindification. 6) Easy for totability. Awesome for Hollywood Bowl.

Important wine review — naturally Clif would think to put their wine line in a “Climber Pouch” for easy transport. America!

Re. my last post: @arunningfool — No, it’s a Clif C bar with fruit and nuts. I don’t think they have gone over to the dark side yet!

Specifically it is from my endless box of Clif bars that I won from Spring Shape-Up (cc: @losingweightinthecity). And it really is endless. There are blueberry, apple and cherry pomegranate bars included, and I haven’t even tried the cherry pom ones yet! Blueberry is definitely better than apple though.

I’ve been stashing them in my desk to eat as a mid-morning snack to keep me going for lunch. I was just about to offer my cube neighbor one, but since she follows Theodora on Twitter and doesn’t know about this blog, maybe not?

I won the random draw at the end of Theodora’s Spring Shape-Up Challenge, and this is my prize.
Holy… moly.
I’ve never even tried most of these but I am intrigued by the Clif C bars promising a whole serving of fruit (beige boxes, top right) because I’m always trying to sneak in my 5 a day. Conservatively, this stash will probably last me till Thanksgiving — at my goal, or nearly close to it. I am going to be saving so much money I can then put to race fees and smaller clothes!
Also, this may sound rich coming from someone who has just come into a small country’s worth of snacks, but I would have been happy with just the challenge results. In 8 and a half weeks, I lost 8 pounds and finally broke 35:00 in my 5K time, and the action of having to set weekly goals and stay accountable to someone else made a big difference in that effort. I never expected this to happen from just reading a blog.
This post is mostly to make an honest blogger of Theodora, although I’m sure sponsor Clif would also like to see their new media dollars at play. (Should have washed the counter first.) Stay tuned for a montage of me eating Clif bars before performing feats of strength (not really).
